Workers' Compensation

So, you got hurt at work. It probably wasn’t even your fault. Or, maybe it was. Stuff happens.
Unless you violated a safety rule, it really doesn’t matter who’s at fault. If you did break a rule, you may lose some benefits but only if your employer can prove that you intentionally violated a rule you knew about.

Hopefully your employer sent you to a doctor. If they did, you may feel the doctor your employer chose is not as interested in your well being as in saving the insurance company money. Maybe the doctor isn ’t even listening to all of your complaints but instead just focuses on one part of your injury. The insurance adjuster isn ’t really interested either, which is a BIG clue that something just isn’t right. And, nobody bothered to tell you that in most cases your employer has to give you a choice of at least two doctors or that you can change your doctor in the first ninety days after you get hurt.
It gets worse. Now that you are hurt, your employer treats you like you’ve just committed a crime. Like it’s your fault you aren’t back at work yet. Or maybe your employer took the opportunity to replace you. Now, not only have you lost your job, your family is without health insurance. You ’re barely making your bills. At least that is, if the insurance company is paying your benefits every two weeks like they ’re supposed to.

You’re tired and frustrated and you just want to get better so you can get on with your life. It ’s not like living on workers’ compensation benefits is a life of luxury. And, in spite of what you’ve heard from your friends and those ads on TV, there‘s a lot more you don’t know. Like the insurance carrier might be having an investigator follow you around with a video camera or talking to your neighbors. Or the adjuster might be talking to your doctors without your knowledge. Oh yeah, there ’s more. But, there isn’t enough space here to go through it all.

Surprised? Probably not. That’s why you are here after all, looking for some help to get you through this process with your rights and dignity intact.  Well, you’re in the right place. This is what we do all day, every day. We help people who are injured or disabled get the benefits they deserve. We ’ve been doing it for a long time and we know how to get results. If you’re looking for caring, compassionate, personal service, call us. We’re ready to help.
